the hotel provided a very efficient laundry service , costing me only nz$8. i used the laundry room on the third floor and i found it very clean. the hotel staff gave useful tips for local shopping. i easily found all the items needed for my trip.

the air conditioning in my room was quite noisy , which slightly disturbed my sleep.

noisy air conpriority rooms

I was a bit disappointed with a couple of things. the room air con was quite noisy. It bothered my sleep. i mentioned this to reception the next morning, but they said some people actually like the noise. also, i was unable to check in early though it's understandable, i overheard the cleaning manager scolding the receptionist for requesting too many priority rooms.

Mercy greeted me upon check in, and we had a nice conversation. She gave me a map and recommended places to visit, and how to get there. I felt very welcomed whenever I come back to a tidy room after a long day.

The air conditioning would not stay on. It also would not stay at the temperature I tried to set it. It reminded me of someone else was controlling the AC.
